Stability Footwear

Piedro® stability footwear has a high and extended corset stiffener. This fixates the subtalar joint and stabilises the talo-crural joint. The extra depth last gives enough space for the removable Piedro® stability footbed which can be replaced by individual orthotics.

Piedro Stability Footwear is recommended for the following:

• Severe Cerebral Palsy (CP) patients.
• Painful or pressure sensitive feet.
• Partial or complete paralysis of the malleolus area.
• Deterioration of the talo-crural joint.
• Feet with extreme varus or valgus instability.
• Problems with ligaments in the lower limb area.
• Limited dorsi-flexion.
